The New York Jets announced Monday that they’ve signed S Santos Ramirez and waived CB Dee Delaney.
Delaney, 23, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Miami in 2018. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Delaney was on and off of the Jaguars’ roster before eventually being claimed by the Dolphins in December. He was later added to their practice squad.
Delaney signed a futures deal with the Dolphins early in 2019, but was waived in May. He signed on with the Jets last month.
In 2018, Delaney appeared in two games for the Jaguars and Dolphins but did not record a statistic.
