Jets Worked Out 11 Players Including WR/KR Trindon Holliday & 7 Kickers

Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the Jets worked out 11 players in total including WR/KR Trindon Holliday and seven kickers.

The list of players brought in for tryouts includes: RB Dri Archer, WR Damaris Johnson, P Casey Redfern, K Corey Acosta, K Michael Barnard, K Tommy Frevert, K Andrew Furney, K Zach Hocker, K Marvin Kloss, and K Giorgio Tavecchio.

Holliday, 29, is a former sixth-round pick of the Texans back in 2010. He spent two years with the Texans before later being claimed off of waivers by the Broncos.

Since the, Holliday has played for a number of teams including the Giants, Buccaneers, 49ers and most recently the Raiders. However, Oakland elected to cut him loose at the start of the season.

Holliday was an extremely productive kick returner for the Broncos a few years ago as he totaled 1,327 kick return yards, 752 punt return yards and four touchdowns over the course of two years in Denver.

The Jets signed K Randy Bullock to replace Nick Folk, who was placed on season-ending injured reserve with a quad injury last week.

Bullock managed to convert his only field goal attempt and made both extra points to go along with three touchbacks during their Week 10 game, so it would be surprising to see them move on from him so soon.
