Jim Harbaugh Returned To Practice On Thursday, Despite Undergoing A Minor Heart Procedure

ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that 49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh was able to join the team’s practice on Thursday, despite undergoing a minor heart procedure.

This is obviously a fairly clear indication that he’ll be available to coach on Monday, assuming that he doesn’t suffer any setbacks over the weekend.

49ers head coach Jim Harbaugh was not at the team’s practice facility today as he is undergoing a minor procedure for an irregular heartbeat, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

“49ers: Coach Harbaugh is not at the facility today under doctor’s orders,” tweets Schefter. “He is having a minor procedure done at Stanford Hospital today for an irregular heartbeat”

It’s anticipated that Harbaugh will be back at the team facility tomorrow. However, it’s unknown at this point whether Harbaugh will be on the sidelines for the Niners game against the Bears on Monday night. Considering it’s an irregular heartbeat, it’s good to hear that Harbaugh will return to work tomorrow. We’ll pass along any new info as it’s made available.
