Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that Jon Bon Jovi remains “very interested” in owning an NFL team and is continuing to monitor the Titans ownership situation closely.
The Titans still aren’t compliant with the NFL’s ownership bylaws due to their current structure and have been fined a substantial amount.
Acting owner Amy Adams Strunk has maintained all along that she will not make the Titans available for sale, but La Canfora says that there still isn’t a path to compliance with the NFL’s single-owner requirement and significant hurdles remain.
Even though Bon Jovi is interested in acquiring the team, La Canfora expects there to be “substantial” competition for the franchise if it were available.
La Canfora’s sources have maintained that Peyton Manning is also interested in having an ownership stake in the Titans.
