Adam Schefter reports that former Packers WR Jordy Nelson has a visit with the Raiders on Wednesday and is then scheduled to meet with the Seahawks and Saints.
- According to Jason La Canfora, the Ravens have also scheduled a visit with Nelson.
It’s worth mentioning that signing him to a contract won’t impact a team’s 2019 compensatory picks, given that he was released this offseason.
Nelson, 32, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2008. He was entering the final year of his five-year, $43 million contract and set to make a base salary of $9.25 million for the 2018 season when the Packers released him in a move that freed up $10,218,750 of available cap space.
In 2017, Nelson appeared in 15 games for the Packers and caught 53 passes for 482 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
