Jordy Nelson Questionable For Week 9

Packers have WR Jordy Nelson listed as questionable for Sunday;s game against the Cardinals.

Gary D’Amato of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel reports that Packers WR Jordy Nelson missed his third straight practice on Friday and looks to be doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.

Reports earlier in the week suggested that Friday was going to be a big test for Week 9 status, but the fact that he was unable to suit up is definitely a bad indication  Considering that the Packers will be up against the offensively challenged Cardinals this weekend, it probably makes sense for them to hold him out and rely on James Jones and Randall Cobb for another week.

Green Bay has their bye next week and considering that the number of injuries that they’re dealing with this season, getting their players healthy should be a priority.

The Packers announced that WR Jordy Nelson will not test out his injured hamstring until Friday.

Nelson wound up missing Wednesday’s practice, along with a number of Packers. The team added that Nelson will put in limited rehab work on Thursday, but Friday will ultimately be a huge test for him. At this point in time, it seems as though he could be headed for the dreaded game-time decision.
