Cardinals QB Kevin Kolb mentioned that he expects the team to pick up $7 million roster bonus despite rumors that they could be a destination for Peyton Manning.
“Every indication on my end shows me that I’ll be (in Arizona in 2012),” Kolb said, per Kent Somers of the Arizona Republic.
Kolb doesn’t seem to be phased by the rumors regarding Peyton Manning, however.
“I know how the NFL works,” Kolb said, “anything is possible. I just try to keep my mind clear and do what I can on my end. I plan on having a great year and being a Cardinal for a long time.”
At this point, it’s hard to suggest that Kolb will be released considering that all reports have him staying on as the team’s quarterback for the 2012 season.
