Lions HC Matt Patricia announced Wednesday that they will activate CBย Jamal Agnew from injured reserve.
The Lions placedย Agnew on injured reserve with a knee injury back in October before designating him to return a few weeks ago.
Agnew, 23, is a former fifth-round pick of the Lions back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.65 million contract and set to make base salaries of $555,000 and $645,000 over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2018, Agnew has appeared in five games for the Lions and recorded seven tackles, a fumble recovery, a pass defense, 167 kick return yards and 39 punt return yards.
