Lions LB Stephen Tulloch Out 3-4 Weeks

Lions MLB Stephen Tulloch is dealing with knee tendinitis in his right knee and is expected to miss 3-4 weeks, according to Dave Birkett.

“He had tendinitis and we did an injection to settle it down,” said head coach Jim Schwartz. “He’s not weight-bearing (on his leg) right now. We will get it settled down and there won’t be surgery or anything like that.”

Tulloch will most likely miss OTAs as well as the team’s June minicamp with the injury. Thankfully for the Lions, this doesn’t appear to require surgery, so he still has a shot at being ready for the start of the season. The Lions brought him back at a pretty high salary, so it will be important for them to get them best tackler on the field at some point in time.
