The Detroit Lions officially placed LB Jarrad Davis on the Reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Davis, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Lions back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $10.96 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $1.96 million for the 2020 season.
Detroit declined Davis’ fifth-year option this past May, which means he’ll be an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
