Lee, 24, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida back in 2016. He was waived at the start of the season, but later added to the Texans’ practice squad.
Houston brought Lee back on a future/reserve contract but he was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason. The Bills signed him to their practice squad a few days later and was promoted to their active roster.
Buffalo wound up waiving him and signing him to their practice squad, but the Patriots claimed him off the Bills’ taxi squad after a month.
He was among New England’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed on with the Lions’ practice squad two days later.
In 2017, Lee appeared in six games for the Patriots and recorded 19 total tackles, 3.5 sacks, two pass defenses, one interception, and forced one safety.
