The Detroit Lions announced Thursday that they’ve re-signed TEÂ Jerome Cunningham to their practice squad and placed LB Garret Dooley (hand) on the practice squad injured list.

- TEÂ Jerome Cunningham
Cunningham, 27, originally signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Connecticut Stat back in 2014. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the 53-man roster that year, but was later added to the Giants practice squad.
Cunningham had a brief stint with the Jets before he was claimed off of waivers by the Titans. He returned to Tennessee on a future/reserve contract last year but was on and off of the Titans’ practice squad.
The Lions signed Cunningham to their practice squad a few weeks into the regular season and has been on and off of the unit ever since.
In 2015, Cunningham appeared nine games and recorded eight catches for 59 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
