Wilkins, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Rutgers back in May of 2019. He agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Eagles, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
After a brief stint on the Eagles’ practice squad, the Giants added him to the taxi squad in December. New York brought him back on a futures contract but ended up waiving him in April.
During his four-year college career at Rutgers, Wilkins recorded 122 tackles, two sacks, an interception, and five passes defended over the course of 39 games.
