A day after signing offensive guard Leroy Harris, the Detroit Lions add another veteran guard – Jake Scott.
As first reported by Tim Twentyman on Twitter, Scott signed a one-year deal with the Lions Tuesday morning.
The move makes the interior of the Lions offensive line even more crowded as the organization continues to stockpile bodies.
Detroit also signed wide receiver/kick returner Micheal Spurlock Tuesday as well.
The Lions were rumored to be interested in Josh Cribbs, but he signed with the Oakland Raiders last week.
