The Lions announced on Wednesday they have signed RB Wes Hills to the practice squad and released DE Eric Lee in a corresponding move.
Here’s an updated look at Detroit’s practice squad:
- DT John Atkins
- LB Steve Longa
- TE Isaac Nauta
- T Matt Nelson
- LB Anthony Pittman
- LB Jason Cabinda
- WR Chris Lacy
- WR Travis Fulgham
- DE Jonathan Wynn
- RB Wes Hills
Lee, 25, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of USF back in 2016. He spent over a year in Houston before he was waived at the start of the 2017 season.
From there, Lee had brief stints with the Bills and Patriots before signing on to the Lions’ practice squad in 2018. He was eventually promoted to their active roster.
Lee was waived by Detroit coming out of the preseason this year and re-signed to the practice squad.
In 2018, Lee appeared in nine games for the Lions and recorded six tackles and no sacks.
