The Detroit Lions have agreed to terms with sixth-round DT John Penisini on Monday, according to his agency.

Penisini, 22, was a two-year starter at Utah. The Lions used the No. 197 overall pick in the sixth round on him.
Penisini is projected to sign a four-year, $3,466,178 contract that includes a $171,178 signing bonus.
During his college career at Utah, Penisini recorded 80 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles, a recovery and two passes defended over the course of three seasons and 28 games.
