Lions Sign WR Chris Lacy To PS, Cut RB Nick Brossette

The Detroit Lions announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed WR Chris Lacy to their practice squad and released RB Nick Brossette from the unit.

Here’s the Lions updated practice squad:

  1. DT John Atkins
  2. WR Tom Kennedy
  3. LB Steve Longa
  4. TE Isaac Nauta
  5. T Matt Nelson
  6. LB Anthony Pittman
  7. LB Jason Cabinda
  8. DE Eric Lee
  9. DE Jonathan Wynn
  10. WR Chris Lacy

Lacy, 23, wound up signing on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in 2018. New England waived Lacy to make room for G Jason King and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Lions.

Lacy was on and off of the Lions’ active roster last year, but was once again cut loose coming out of the preseason.

During his four-year college career at Oklahoma State, Lacy caught 63 passes for 920 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of 32 games. He also totaled 97 kick return yards.
