Undrafted rookie LB Raphael Kirby announced via his Twitter account that he’s signing a contract with the Detroit Lions.

Kirby wound up going undrafted out of Miami a few months ago. This will be his first opportunity with an NFL team.
During his four-year college career, Kirby recorded recorded 124 tackles, nine tackles for a loss, a sack, two forced fumbles, a recovery, two interceptions and two pass defenses.
