According to Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun, Ihedigbo receives a two-year contract.
- Adam Caplan mentions that the Bears and Eagles had โvarying interestโ in Ihedigbo as well.
Recent reports indicated that Ihedigbo had offers from a few teams and the Bears came up as a potential option.
Ihedigbo, 30, was one of the best safeties still available in free agent market, and fits an obvious need for the Lions.
Last year, he totaled 100 tackles, three interceptions, a forced fumble and two recoveries for the Ravens defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 16 safety in league last season.
We had him listed as the No. 15 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
