Lions Tried Out Five Free Agents Including DT David Parry

According to Howard Balzer, the Detroit Lions brought in five free agents for workouts on Tuesday including DT David Parry.

Parry, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Colts back in 2015. He lasted just over two years in Indianapolis before he was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the Saints’ practice squad.

New Orleans promoted Parry to their active roster a few weeks into the regular season before placing him on injured reserve soon after.

The Vikings signed Parry to a one-year contract back in March but was waived last month.

He recently worked out for the Seahawks and Patriots but left his meeting without a contract.

In 2018, Parry has appeared in two games for the Vikings and recorded two tackles and a sack.
