The Detroit Lions announced that they’ve waived OL Tim Lelito from injured reserve on Tuesday.
Lelito, 27, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2013. He has managed to make the 53-man roster in all four his seasons in the NFL and returned to the Saints last year on a one-year, $1.67 million contract.
The Titans signed Lelito to a one-year deal this offseason but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Lions later signed him to a contract a few weeks into the season before placing him on injured reserve with a thigh injury last month.
In 2017, Lelito appeared in two games for the Lions.
