The Detroit Lions have waived WR Ryan Spadola from injured reserve on Tuesday with an injury settlement, according to Dave Birkett.
Spadola, 26, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Lehigh back in 2013. He has played for a number of teams since entering the NFL including the Dolphins, Falcons and Cardinals before joining the Lions during the 2015 season.
Spadola returned to Detroit last January on a future/reserve contract but was waived with an injury designation during the preseason and spent the year on injured reserve. Detroit just waived Spadola with an injury designation last week.
In 2013, Spadola appeared in four games for the Dolphins but did not register a statistic.
