After a fast start to the 2011 season, the Detroit Lions appear to be falling back down to Earth. During Sunday’s loss to the Chicago Bears, WR Calvin Johnson got his “bull rung” which left his status for Week 11 in doubt. But Johnson informed Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press that he passed his concussion test and will be able to play the teams upcoming game against the Carolina Panthers.
At this point, Detroit is basically in a must win situation as the Bears are currently tied with them for second place in the NFC North and both Falcons and Cowboys are on their heels for one of the wildcard spots.
