Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Lions wonโt be re-signing veteran S James Ihedigbo this offseason.
This comes after the news from Thursday that theyโve informed ILB Stephen Tulloch that heโll be released at the start of the 2016 league year.
Ihedigbo, 32, finished out his contract with the Lions and will be an unrestricted free agent in the coming weeks.
In 2015, Ihedigbo appeared in 15 games and recorded 63 tackles, one sack, an interception, three forced fumbles, and two pass defenses for the Lions. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 64 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
