Seahawks HC Pete Carroll told reporters on Monday that DB Loucheiz Purifoy did not pass his physical with the team after he was claimed off of waivers last Friday, per Bob Condotta.
- Seattle now has an open roster that will likely be filled in the coming days.
The Colts waived Purifoy the day before in order to make room for CB Jalil Brown, who they were adding to their active roster.
Purifoy, 21, was a priority undrafted free agent signing of the Colts. He has appeared in 11 games this season and recorded seven tackles, a forced fumble and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 48 snaps this season.
