Matt Hasselbeck “Struggling” In Tennessee

The Tennessee Titans are in a transition year now that longtime head coach Jeff Fisher has been replaced by Mike Munchak. The addition of Matt Hasselbeck was designed to bridge the gap until newly drafted QB Jake Locker is ready to take over the teams offense but from offensive coordinator Chris Palmer’s comments that doesn’t appear to be happening as fast as they would have hoped.

Palmer mentioned that Hasselbeck has been “struggling” to learn new offense but added that he is also making some strides.

Hasselbeck has played the good majority of his career in the same system so learning a new system is going to take him some time. Unfortunately for him and the Titans the lockout cut into the teams training camp will certainly have an impact on the teams offense in the upcoming season. Hopefully for the Titans he can figure things out sooner rather than later.
