Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford return to practice Thursday and all signs are pointing towards him playing on Sunday, per Chris McCosky.
“Stafford, Scheffler were back at practice. Probably be limited but on pace for Sunday. Stafford looked comfortable. Moving well,” McCosky tweeted.
Stafford suffered a hip injury in last week’s loss to the Titans. His hip may limit him on Sunday, mostly his mobility, but Stafford has never been known as a mobile quarterback. Should a setback occur, Shaun Hill would be obviously step in and assume the starting quarterback role for the Lions.
