Matthew Stafford’s Status For Week 8

Chris McCosky reports that QB Matthew Stafford took first-team reps during today’s practice which is a great sign for his status for Sunday’s game against the Broncos.

McCosky tweets, “Yesterday, I thought it was 60-40 Stafford would not play. Now, seeing him today, I would say 80-20 he will.”

At the beginning of the week there were some legitimate concerns about his chances of playing this week and the fact that Shaun Hill was taking first-team snaps made it seem as though the Lions were going to have move forward without their first-string quarterback. Thankfully for them, Stafford looks like a go for this weekend.
