After the continuous poor play of Derek Anderson, Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt made the decision to bench Anderson in favor of the undrafted rookie, Max Hall.
Anderson was 6 – 14 passing for 64 yards and two interceptions and is currently dead last in quarterback rating among the quarterbacks who qualify. The Cardinals decision to let Matt Leinart most likely had something to do with Whisenhunt’s support for Hall. The rookie quarterback came in and completed three of his first four passes for 32 yards.
Although the team hasn’t decided who they will start this weekend, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Max Hall took over the teams offense for the forseeable future.
