Mitchell Trubisky Has Dislocated Left Shoulder, Unlikely To Play Next Week

According to Adam Schefter, Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky has a dislocated left shoulder and a slight tear in his labrum.

However, Trubisky does not need surgery and should be back “sooner rather than later.” He will travel with the team next week to London but is unlikely to play against the Raiders.

Trubisky initially suffered the injury in the first quarter of Sunday’s game against the Vikings.

Trubisky, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Bears back in 2017. He’s in the third year of his four-year, $29 million contract that included a $19.17 million signing bonus and set to make base salaries of $152,156 and $2.21 million over the next two years.

The contract includes a fifth-year option for the Bears to pick up in 2020.

Entering Sunday’s game, Trubisky had appeared in three games for the Bears and completed 65 percent of his passes for 579 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.

We’ll have more regarding Trubisky as the news is available.
