Cowboys

Cowboys HC Jason Garrett was noncommittal about WR Dez Bryant‘s future with the team moving forward.

“We haven’t had any specific personnel meetings about any of our players,” Garrett said of Bryant’s contract — and roster — status. “We’ll have some more meetings starting this week once we get back to Dallas about the specific roles for each of our players moving forward.

  • Regarding the possibility of trading Foles, Peterson said: “We will get Carson Wentz back at some point. Right now, looking at our QB situation if it is not at the top it is 1 or 2 in the NFL. We will see how the Spring unfolds.” (Sirius XM NFL Radio)

Giants

  • Giants GM Dave Gettleman said of possibly trading the No. 2 pick: “If someone makes me an offer I can’t refuse, would I move back? It depends on who’s there. (At 2) you’re drafting what you think will be a Hall of Fame player. You can’t get too cute.” (Ralph Vacchiano)
  • New Giants HC Pat Shurmur said of QB Eli Manning and the draft: “We’re looking forward to moving forward with Eli Manning. We’re going to pick the very best player we can pick at No. 2.
  • Shurmur later added: “We believe that Eli Manning has got years left as a starting quarterback in this league.
  • When asked about CB Eli Apple, Shurmur said he has a “clean slate deal” moving forward. (Jordan Raanan)

Redskins

  • Redskins executive Doug Williams said that QB Kirk Cousins is “a free agent for sure” and he doesn’t expect them to use the franchise tag on him before the upcoming deadline. (JP Finlay)
  • Williams confirmed that they made free agent LB Zach Brown an offer and are waiting to hear back from him.(JP Finlay)
  • According to Williams, there is “no doubt” that the team must upgrade at running back and improve the interior defensive line to defend the run. (John Keim)
