Cowboys

Eagles

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Eagles RB Corey Clement is believed to have suffered a knee sprain and the hope is that it’s not as bad as it looked. Clement will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the severity of the issue.

Giants

Giants HC Pat Shurmur said that WR Odell Beckham Jr came in on Monday feeling better with his quad than he did Friday or Saturday.

Odell (Beckham) came in today, felt a lot better than he did Friday and Saturday,” Shurmur said, per Adam Schefter. “He received some treatments over the weekend, so he feels better and we’ll just see where that takes us. It’s too early to tell.

Redskins

Redskins HC Jay Gruden told reporters after Sunday’s blowout loss to the Giants that his “job’s in jeopardy every week.”

“My job’s in jeopardy every week,” Gruden said, via the Associated Press. “So I’ve just got to go about and do the best I can, get these guys ready to go, and we’ll continue to do that.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Redskins TE Jordan Reed is undergoing a precautionary MRI for a toe sprain he suffered during Sunday’s loss.
  • Rapoport says that Reed’s injury isn’t believed to be major, but given the timing of it, he could miss the remainder of the season.
  • Gruden announced that WR Josh Doctson is in the concussion protocol.

  1. AHHHHH! Did Putz Shurmur also give OBJ a YAH YEE POP? I mean REALLY with this nonsense already. A week or so ago Evan Engram supposedly had the same injury. And Engram was suited up and ready to go on the sidelines.
The GMEN proved on Sunday they can succeed WITHOUT OBJ’s services for now and the future. There was better ball distribution combined with Barkley’s workhorse running. Engram had MONSTER receptions and Engram should be a GMAN for the forseeable future. With Engram’s speed, Sterling Shepard’s great route running, Corey Coleman can be a deep threat, he proved it on Sunday and once again Barkley’s all around game the GMEN have more than enough fire power. Say AU REVOIR to OBJ at season’s end.
