Eagles QB Carson Wentz (ACL) told reporters on Tuesday that his goal is still to be back in time for Week 1
“Yeah, that’s still the goal,” Wentz said, via NFL.com.
Even so, Wentz wasn’t willing to put a timetable on when he’ll be ready to return.
“It’s such a fluid process, it’s so hard to put a timeframe and a timetable on these things. I wish I knew as well, but things are going well, and I’m happy with where I’m at.”
“I’m just going stay the course; you’ve seen the horror stories of people coming back too soon … so I can assure you I’ll be smart about it.”
Giants
On Tuesday, Browns WR Jarvis Landry, who happens to be best friends with Giants WR Odell Beckham Jr, told reporters that OBJ will remain in New York “for another year.”
“I think that period is over and he’s going to be a Giant for another year,” Landry said, via Pro Football Talk. “Outside of that, I’m just so focused on this team, I’m so focused on what we’ve got going with the guys we have now and the guys we’ll add in a couple weeks.”
