Thomas Sims, the agent for Cardinals DL Robertย Nkemdiche, says his client is focused on putting together a breakout 2018 season.

Nkemdiche expects to be a “dominant, effective and disruptive football player in his third year in the NFL.
โThatโs what itโs going to be, this year is going to be really, really fun,โ Nkemdiche said, via the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. โThere are going to be a lot of things Iโm going to do on the field. This is going to (lead) to a lot of the things I want to do. Iโm going to have a good season, really be dominant, effective and disruptive football player in general.
โThatโs what itโs going to be. Now, is the right time. Iโm healthy. Iโm in the right position. Right football team. Right place. Right where Iโm supposed to be. Everything will work itself out.โ
Panthers
Panthers LB Thomas Davis says he plans to approach this year’s training camp as though it could be his last, even though he’s said he would like to continue his career beyond this season.
โIโm going into Spartanburg and totally embracing this whole experience with this potentially being my last time going down to Spartanburg. Itโs just going to be one of those bittersweet things,โ Davis said, via the Charlotte Observer.
โIโm definitely going into it with a very different mindset,โ Davis added. โBecause when you think about my situation and going into this season and this potentially being my last season based on whatever happens moving forward.โ
- Max Henson of Panthers.com believes the team has options to replace former LG Andrew Norwellย and mentionsย Taylor Moton, Amini Silatolu, Tyler Larsen, and Jeremiah Sirles as players who will compete for the starting role.
- Panthers LT Matt Kalil said that “nothing’s holding me back” after dealing with injuries last season:ย โI used to have to do what I could to survive. Now it’s to the point where physically nothing’s holding me back.”
