Buccaneers

New Buccaneers HC Bruce Arians says he really believes in QB Jameis Winston. 

“I wasn’t pining to coach again,” Arians said via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. “I love it. With ownership, (general manager) Jason Licht and Todd and all the guys coming back, I was like, yeah, I’m ready to do this again. We can win and win fast. With Jameis (Winston). I really believe in Jameis.” 

Lions

Lions TE Eric Ebron said he “used to beg” for more red zone targets in Detroit.  

“I begged everybody. Everybody,” Ebron said via Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.  “A lot of people knew it, but it is what it is.”

Ebron added that he thought the team could do a better job of listening to the players. 

“Just listen to their players. They’ll understand exactly what I mean, at least the players will understand what I mean,” Ebron said. “Just listen to the players, man. The players play, and if there’s some things that can help their game, do it.” 

Vikings

• Andrew Krammer of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune reports that the Vikings are considering moving LT Riley Reiff to guard this season.
