Cowboys

• Rams HC Sean McVay said Wednesday that it’s unlikely ILB Mark Barron will play this week against the Chargers. (Myles Simmons)
• Rams tried out G Ian Silberman, OT David Steinmetz, and OT Darrell Williams.
• Rams waived S Isaiah Johnson. (NFLTR)
• Rams signed OL Darrell Williams to their practice squad.
• Rams activated G Jamon Brown from the suspended list. (NFLTR)
• Rams promoted WR KhaDarel Hodge to their active roster.
• Rams signed DE Marcus Martin to their practice squad.

Seahawks

• Regarding the decision to release DT Tom Johnson, who ultimately signed with the Vikings rather than return to the Seahawks, Pete Carroll explained “we hoped to” bring him back and talked to him about returning. However, Johnson got a good offer and Seahawks couldn’t get re-sign him. (Bob Condotta)
• Carroll was asked about the possibility of signing WR Dez Bryant, but said he likes the guys they have. (Mike Vorel)
• Carroll says the NFL has informed them that LB Mychal Kendricks will be available for Sunday’s game against the Cowboys as he continues to appeal his suspension. (Brady Henderson)
• Carroll expects LB Bobby Wagner to play in Week 3 but isn’t sure about K.J. Wright at this time.
