- According to Vaughn McClure, the Falcons have interest in re-signing DE Bruce Irvin.
- Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff says the team’s cap situation isn’t as “dire” as it seems, and the Falcons still have the flexibility to make moves. (McClure)
- Dimitroff also said he believes WR Julio Jones is good enough to be the top paid wide receiver in the NFL: “I believe there are a handful of elite receivers — of course Julio being one of this group — so, of course, he has the ability to be top paid.” (McClure)

- According to Brad Biggs, the Panthers brought in a group to evaluate Northwestern QB Clayton Thorson at his pro day after meeting with him last night.
- According to Person, the Matt Paradis signing doesn’t necessarily preclude the Panthers from bringing back RT Daryl Williams. However, Person says “that ship has pretty well sailed.“
