NFC West Notes: 49ers, Cardinals, Seahawks

49ers

For the first time in a while, 49ers CB Richard Sherman says he feels like he’s fully healthy.

โ€œItโ€™s the first time in a few years that Iโ€™ve been able to move and groove like I wanted to,โ€ Sherman said via ESPN’s Nick Wagoner. โ€œI had the MCL a few years ago, had the Achilles. This offseason, I donโ€™t have anything, thank goodness. And Iโ€™m able to just move and explode and just get to the spots I want to. I can stop when I want to stop; I can go when I want to go. It changes the whole dynamic for me.โ€

Cardinals

Cardinals WR Kevin White has dealt with injuries since entering the NFL and has struggled to live up to being a former first-round pick.

White says he’s learned a lot from his struggles and is hoping to turn things around in Arizona.

โ€œThroughout my career and life, Iโ€™ve learned a totally different way โ€” [Cardinals consultant Jerry Sullivan] would say โ€˜bad habits,’โ€ White recently said, via AzCardinals.com. โ€œThatโ€™s been years, so it will be hard to break the bad habits, but every day we are getting closer. Itโ€™ll take time, but Iโ€™m sure by the time the season comes Iโ€™ll have everything down.โ€

โ€œSomething like that is something you canโ€™t ever forget,โ€ White added. โ€œI think it shaped me into the man I am today, mentally and physically. Do I wish things were different and I didnโ€™t get hurt? Of course. Iโ€™d be more successful. But I think it showed me some things within myself, and with the people that are truly in my corner, how much this means to them and to me.โ€
