Adam Schefter of Dianna Russini are reporting that the NFL is “tentatively” moving the Ravens-Steelers game from Sunday to Tuesday, due to the COVID-19 outbreak in Baltimore.
While the NFL had been holding out hope that the game would be played Sunday afternoon, it became increasingly clear that this was unlikely to happen after four more players tested positive Thursday.
The NFL will need to figure out what they’ll do with the Ravens Week 13 game, as they’re scheduled to play next Thursday.
The Ravens are up to 12 players that have tested positive this week including starting QB Lamar Jackson.
A strength and conditioning coach reportedly failed to discuss symptoms or follow league protocols while at the team’s facility. The Ravens have already disciplined the coach, but considering how serious the NFL has been about teams taking responsibility for their situation, it would not be surprising if further discipline from the NFL could be coming.
Weโll have more regarding the Ravens as the news is available.
