NFL News: Texans Re-sign Owen Daniels

NFL Networks Jason La Canfora reports that the Houston Texans have reached a deal with TE Owen Daniels that will keep him in Houston for the ext four-years at $22 million. La Canfora adds that it’s believed Daniels new deal will pay him $13 million over the first two years which leaves him with base salary of $4.5 million for the final two seasons of the deal.

Daniels returned last season after suffering serious knee injury and struggled at first but he was able to show that he can still be productive during the teams final four games. Overall, it’s a good move for both parties.
