• QB Colin Kaepernick said he was fined more than $11,000 for “inappropriate language” during Sunday night’s game.  He added that he will appeal and that he did not “say anything.” (Janie McCauley)

• The most recent injury report shows that LB Vontaze Burfict suffered a concussion during Sunday’s game, an injury that was initially thought to be a stinger. (Paul Dehner Jr.)

• RB Andre Ellington did not practice Wednesday. (Kent Somers)
• The NFL’s new performance enhancing drug policy will not affect the year-long suspension given to LB Daryl Washington. (Mike Florio)

• QB Tony Romo did not practice Wednesday due to his ongoing back issues, but there are unsubstantiated rumors that he is indeed injured again. (Pro Football Talk)

• WR Roddy White is going to play Thursday night barring “some dramatic occurrence” in the interim. (Vaughn McClure)
