Al Michaels of NBC Sports mentioned during the Hall of Fame game broadcast that he spoke to Donald Trump and the billionaire told him that he made a $1 billion offer for the franchise.
โHe said he offered $1 billion. All cash, no contingencies, immediate closing. Heโd have the check in one hour,โ Michaels said, via Pro Football Talk. โHe was a little miffed that it went out for bid again.โ
Previous reports mentioned thatย Buffalo Sabres owner Terry Pegula actually made an offer above $1 billion, and the process is expected to head into the second round.
