Bills

• Sources tell Jason La Canfora that the Bills have an offer on the table to keep DE Jerry Hughes that would pay him over $8.5 million per year.
• Buffalo is reportedly “very interested” in RB Bilal Powell, even though they traded for LeSean McCoy and signed him to a massive contract.
• According to La Canfora, “several contending teams” are doing their homework on RB Fred Jackson, should he be released.

Eagles

• Jason La Canfora expects the Eagles to sign S Devin McCourty, CB Byron Maxwell and OLB Jason Worilds when all is said and done.

Jaguars

• Jason La Canfora is “banking on” TE Julius Thomas signing with the Jaguars for a deal that could come close to $10 million per year.

Ravens

• Jason La Canfora writes the Ravens are in a tough position regarding DT Haloti Ngata and CB Lardarius Webb, as the contracts being handed out to free agents would suggest that they would both do well as free agents.
• Should Ngata get released, La Canfora expects the Colts and Browns would be “strong suitors.“

Raiders

• Jason La Canfora expect the Raiders to eventually sign C Rodney Hudson to a deal pays him over $8 million a year.

Texans

• According to Jason La Canfora, quarterback-needy team view Brian Hoyer as the best option available.
• La Canfora can see the Texans signing Hoyer and retaining QB Ryan Mallett.
