Broncos

Chargers

  • Eric D. Williams of ESPN writes that first-round WR Mike Williams (back) does not have a timetable for his return, but HC Anthony Lynn said he is “progressing well” with his rehab: “Mike’s still progressing well with his rehab. He’s changing directions and starting and stopping. So far, so good.”
  • Chargers DC Gus Bradley said DE Jerry Attaochu‘s biggest challenge is staying healthy on a consistent basis: “So to get him going and get a chance to see him, that’s his biggest challenge — to stay healthy enough so that we can see him on a consistent basis.”

Panthers

  • Panthers HC Ron Rivera mentioned second-round WR Curtis Samuel is “ready to roll” after recovering from a hamstring injury: “We feel pretty confident. His workload is what we believe it should be,” Rivera said. “So we’re pretty excited about having him ready to roll.” (Joseph Person)

Redskins

  • Redskins WR Jamison Crowder said he will be ready for Week 1, despite being listed as questionable with a hip injury: “There’s no concern. I’ll be ready.” (John Keim)
