NFL Notes: Browns, Cardinals, Jets, Titans

Browns

  • The Browns announced that first-round S Jabrill Peppers has signed his participation agreement on Saturday and will practice at the team’s rookie minicamp.

Cardinals

  • The Cardinals worked out WRs Harvey Binford and Marvin Hall at their rookie minicamp after cutting them from the team on Wednesday. (Josh Weinfuss)

Jets

  • Although Rich Cimini of ESPN mentions that OTAs could be an “audition” for Jets WR Eric Decker, he believes Decker will be the lead receiver in OC John Morton‘s scheme due to his skills as a route runner.
  • Cimini expects Decker, Quincy Enunwa, third-round ArDarius Stewart, and Robby Anderson to be the team’s top four receivers, while fourth-round Chad Hansen still needs time to develop since he did not play in a Pro Style offense at Cal.
  • If the Jets determine that Decker is holding back the younger receivers on the roster, Cimini could see New York shopping him at the trade deadline.

Titans

Titans HC Mike Mularkey said QB Marcus Mariota still isn’t running at full speed due to his fractured fibula from last season, but there is “no rush” to bring him back.

He is jogging right now,” Mularkey said, via Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official site. “There is no rush. It is so early, in mid-May there is no rush to do it.
