Browns

• Browns GM Ray Farmer said that they didn’t rule out the possibility of drafting a quarterback, it ultimately came down to their grades on players and who was available. (Nate Ulrich)

Chargers

Chargers GM Tom Telesco mentioned that they did “as much work as we could” regarding LSU OL La’el Collins, who wound up going undrafted due to him being questioned in a recent murder.

“There just isn’t enough information yet,” Telesco said of adding Collins, per Michael Gehlken.

Jets

• Jets HC Todd Bowles told reporters that Geno Smith will enter training camp as the team’s No. 1 quarterback with Ryan Fitzpatrick as their No. 2 and Matt Simms and Bryce Petty fighting for No. 3 job. (Brian Costello)
