Ramsย
- Nick Wagoner of ESPN expects the Rams to continue using Mark Barron as an outside linebacker in their base defense next year.
- Wagoner writes that Zac Stacy could be used in compliment role to Tre Mason in 2015, but Benny Cunninghamย has clearly surpassed him.
- Wagoner could see the Rams using Rodger Saffold at right guard and targeting a new left guard this offseason.
- According to Wagoner, the Rams top needs are guard, center, more offensive line depth, cornerback, receiver, and linebacker in that order.
- The Rams planย for the quarterback position is to bring inย someone outside of the organization to compete with Sam Bradford, which would include Bradford reducing his salary.
- Wagoner isn’t getting the impression that Mike Shanahan wants the Rams’ offensive coordinator position and would be surprised to see him take a job other than a head-coaching opportunity.
- St. Louis’ plans for their receiver position will likely come down to whether Kenny Britt re-signs with the team.
Wagoner completely rules out the idea of Mike Martz returning as the team’s offensive coordinator.
