NFL Notes: Cardinals, Jets, Lions, Ravens, Redskins, Seahawks & Saints

Cardinals

• HC Bruce Arians announced Tuesday that C Lyle Sendlein will miss three weeks with a calf injury. (Tom Pelissero)
• G Ted Larsen will be moved to center while Sendlein is out.

Jets

• QB Geno Smith again received the lion’s share of first-team reps over QB Michael Vick Tuesday. (Rich Cimini)
• HC Rex Ryan expressed his displeasure with the Tuesday practice overall, expecting more from his team after a day off. (Rich Cimini)
• The Jets are trying to get OL Oday Aboushi repetitions, particularly at right guard.  He has been rotating with G Willie Colon, who participated in team drills for the first time since arthroscopic knee surgery. (Rich Cimini)

Lions

• If the Lions use the franchise tag on DT Ndamukong Suh next offseason, he will count a projected $36.6 million against the cap, with $9.7 of that in dead money. (Spotrac)

Ravens

• The Ravens worked out Baltimore native CB Brandon Driver this week. (Aaron Wilson)

Redskins

• Robert Griffin III looks “so much better than he did when returning last summer from his knee injury.” (John Keim)
• Linebackers Keenan Robinson and Will Compton need to prove they can defend the run. (John Keim)
• Keim’s hunch is that WR Leonard Hankerson will not be ready at the start of the season, and may have to go on the PUP list. (John Keim)

Seahawks

• GM John Schneider mentioend that he isn’t getting nervous about RB Marshawn Lynch not being in camp and added that they “cant veer from [their] plan for one person.” (Jayson Jenks)

Saints

• The Saints are happy with S Jairus Byrd‘s recovery after back surgery in May, as he is ahead of schedule. (Kevin Patra)
