NFL Notes: Colts, Eagles, Redskins, & Titans

Colts

  • Mike Chappell spoke with Colts GM Ryan Grigson who mentioned that โ€œlanguage issuesโ€™โ€˜ are holding up deals with third-round picks CB Dโ€™Joun Smith and DE Henry Anderson.
  • Even so, Grigson added that thereโ€™s no reason to assume a deal wonโ€™t be done by August 1.

Eagles

  • Eliot Shorr-Parks of NJ.com, citing a person familiar with the situation, reports that Eagles QB Sam Bradford is โ€œlooking greatโ€œ, and should be ready to go when training camp opens.

Redskins

Titans

According to the Tennessean, Titans WR Justin Hunter was released from jail on $25,000 bond on Tuesday.

The Virginia Attorneyโ€™s Office said Hunterโ€™s felony is punishable by five to 20 years in prison and a $100,000 fine.

According to Commonwealth Attorney Wendy Alexander, the man whom Hunter punched was bent over and spitting out blood on a sidewalk. Hunter allegedly โ€œsucker-punchedโ€ him again, before leaving the scene.

The man suffered a broken jaw and a cracked tooth.
