- Archer has Dallas keeping four running back, but also cutting former second-round pick Ryan Williams.
- Of the nine offensive linemen Archer projects to make the team’s final 53-man roster, veteran Uche Nwaneri is not one of them.
- Archer also leaves 2013 fourth-round pick B.W. Webb off the roster as well.
Giants
Dan Graziano of ESPN New York projects the Giants to keep Ryan Nassib as their No. 2 quarterback and release veteran Curtis Painter.
- Graziano also expects New York to release RB Michael Cox and FB John Conner.
- Graziano mentions that if Jon Beason‘s foot issues persist, Terrell Manning or Dan Fox could work their way on the roster.
Redskins
John Keim of ESPN.com has the Redskins keeping three quarterbacks on their 53-man roster, which means Colt McCoy would make the team.
- Keim mentions that RB Chris Thompson could be a candidate to end up on the practice squad.
- However, Keim doesn’t see Evan Royster making the team this year.
- Keim isn’t sold on WRÂ Leonard Hankerson being on the active roster to start the regular season.
- Keim also projects veteran LB Rob Jackson, second-year S Bacarri Rambo and S Akeem Davis to be a roster cuts.
Vikings
Ben Goessling of ESPN.com doesn’t have veteran S Kurt Coleman projected to make the Vikings’ final roster.
Goessling admits that Coleman still has a chance to beat out one of the team’s safeties for a roster, but Minnesota reportedly seems to like Antone Exum’s potential.
